mbp - that sounds like such a beautiful place for a wedding!! what type of ceremony are you going to have? (i forget if your hubby to be is muslim or not)

We are going to have a legal ceremony quick to get the AOS going, but the wedding will be more of a party. I hate the whole idea of vows. I've ask a couple of my freinds to take on officals roles in the wedding- I wnat one friend to make a blessing/speech kind of thing. I want a signing of the contract, a traditional american style wedding dress and cake, lots of food and drink, I have a preofessional henna designer doing my feet and hands, I am looking for some berber musicians for some kind of performance.

You should be able to right click on the desktop and go to properties and that brings up the Display Properties box. Go to the last tab, settings, and change the screen resolution to something like 1024 x 768.

If that's not what you're talking about, I dunno.

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

Sounds like you need to change your resolution. Right click on the desktop and choose properties. From the settings tab you can change the screen resolution. Slide it to the right. I don't know what setting will be good for you, but mine is at 1280x800. Hope that works!

Oops, too late!

I suppose, hope anyhow that your are asking for the best way to put a pet fish out of its misery. There are three methods that I think are probably the most humane and most likely the easiest for the owner to stomach. The first is an overdose of fish anesthetic. This is known at chemical supply stores as MS-222, tricaine methanesulfonate, Ethyl 3-aminobenzoate, or methanesulfonic acid salt. Mix 350 mg of this per liter of water in the container you plan to put the fish in to be euthanized and immerse the fish for roughly 10 minutes. This should end the suffering. Another method is to place the fish to be euthanised in a a shallow container of water and add alka seltzer to the water. Try and place the tablets as close to the gills as possible and the fish will drift away. The lasyt method is to make a 1:5 solution of grain alchohol to water and immerse the fish in it. The fish will essentially overdose on the alchohol and as with the other methods they will pass away peacefully.

I found this on a yahoo page-----------I can't do it :crying: This fish better get better soon.

There should be a button on the monitor itself somewhere that when you push it, lets you adjust the screen settings.

I don't know if you're still having troubles, but if changing the resolution didn't make it look right, maybe just change the icon size alone. Control panel>>display>>appearance>>"advance" button>>"item" drop menu>>choose icon, change the number. smaller number = smaller icon. If its a work computer that someone else usually works on, be ready to hear them complain about the change, though. People get funny about their computer appearance.

Jackie- hope that fish is doing better. I wouldn't be able to knock him out either. (and maybe he even appreciates your patience)

Update on Mr. Betta fish: As of 5:54pm he is at least upright (not sideways) and seemed almost interested in food. Not out of the woods yet but I would say he went from critical to stable condition.
