What's so interesting about the modern PC pretense about celebrating so-called "diversity" is that there is more support for gays than there is for same sex couples with age differences. I have never seen an article that actually CELEBRATED age differences. The response I've gotten here is derision for bringing attention to it, unlike gays who get applause like this.

Let's try it out:

I suppose I would wonder why you feel that you are a member of a marginalised group and whether the alleged derision you have received might have more to do with how you go about presenting yourself.

I can imagine that a lot of gay people have struggled with their sexuality and the pressures of social convention since childhood. I imagine coming out probably has a bit more weight than men who marry younger women later in life and want to draw attention to the fact.
