My question to JohnR! was not to imply he wants authoritarian government but instead to see what his true view is on guns and the second amendment. If he was somehow able to be King/Dictator/der Fuehrer of this country would he or would he not do away with the second amendment? He never answered but I already know where he stands on the second amendment so the question was just rhetorical.

Sure it does. Gegel implied all along that guns don't belong in photos with kids, and he and others seem to think it sends out a bad message. (2nd violation)

He and others don't think the guns are worthy props for pictures. (1st violation) They are used in this context as a fashion statement, much as dreadlocks, sagging pants, and the "Westside" hand gesture in pics all over the world.

When our country was first inhabited by the white folks escaping British tyranny, it was very wild. Indians, animals, criminals... guns were a necessary part of living in the early days in the US of A. And then, once our ancestors were settling in nicely, someone shouted, "The British are coming, the British are coming!!!" We all took up our guns, banded together in a United fashion, and proceeded to kick the arses of the invading British terrorists. Ever since then, some of their citizens have drooled over the idea of America getting rid of their guns so they could walk back in and try to take us over again. As if...

Its perfectly possible to have a reasonable opinion disagreeing with the idea of kids being photographed with guns in a school picture without reaching the conclusion that the person who said it is some sort of Nazi for saying so.
