Yes you can submit a service request since your case is out of normal processing times. According to the website they should have all cases up to Jan 3rd completed, since yours is not completed go ahead and submit the request.

me neither. my friend has his AOS few days after us in same office and they haven't received anything yet so i believe its just them being busy.

I am sure they are busy, but you have been waiting for quite some time. Especially after an interview they will be able to tell right away, if anything, as time goes by they will forget details from the interview and probably not even remember the case

I did the inquiry last week, called them on Monday and asked if they can confirm my address change from August and they suggested I make an infopass appointment with the local office because they don't see personal information. I made the appointment and went there today. The lady was nice and spend about 20 minutes on me. At the end of the appointment, I still don't know if they got the address change correct, plus she has no more information on my case. She said she emailed couple places to get some answers on the address change and told me that I should receive an answer in the email. I am sure that will take some time like always. Very disappointing once again. Hopefully the online inquiry will come up with a result soon. I am guessing there are some lazy ones and there are some hard working ones. It is your luck which desk your folder lands. Maybe mine is being used as a mouse pad

Vjoli, update us when the card comes in and what date they put on the card as the begining date. Thank you.

we are waiting almost 7 months. we will just wait 2 more months and apply for citizenship in December. i do not want to call them or make inquiry as i have extension letter until february....i guess

In our case, the wait was 18 months in total. And we never hear back anything from USCIS, not a single thing.

So, in comparison, 7 months don't seem too bad.

The card in hand as of 09/30/15! It took exactly one week since they started the production and 10 days since the approval.

The beginning date is January 2013, when the first GC was issued. Expiration date is September 2025!

Congrats! I was approved on the 21st and online status only changed when they started the card production, on the 23rd. Since it's a weekend, they should update yours next week...

If everything goes well with the production and mail, you should get it by then! Depends on when they start the production...
