Do you have yours in your hands? I've been waiting mine and this waiting is type ridiculous.. As if 8 months of processing wasn't enough, I lost my extension letter and I call the 800 number they just told me to go and travel with my approval letter and expired green card, the lady the only attitude. And still NO GREEN CARD (new card is being produced) plus here in New York there's no info pass available, you imagine..

After looking through the November 2014 filers thread, I am not expecting to receive my card in hand any time soon. It seems it is taking 4+ weeks from the "card in production" notification to actually receiving the physical card. Oh well...

I would have thought that more would be coming in by now since they just transferred files and they were already doing Mid-December filers at the time the transfer took place.

I would have thought that more would be coming in by now since they just transferred files and they were already doing Mid-December filers at the time the transfer took place.

I can tell you that since 08/06 I have screamed at my husband maybe 2 times, as compared to when I was in the queue I would scream at him for nothing at least 3-4 times a day. It was such a relief having the approval letter, trust me:)

Which means you were probably approved before that and they just didn't update it on the website?

correct, i never saw any updated status before today. The status never went to approved or anything, it went from the standard hey we received your application to the above status that the cards in production. go figure !

It has been eight months and a week since I have filed my application to CSC. Not a single news. Last time, when I submitted a service request, they told me that my security check is pending and there is no timeframe for that. It's an open ended process that can go on for years. What kind if ####### is that? I have not even had a single traffic violation. So I decided to submit another service request and boom! There you go! The processing time is now november first and it didn't go through. I am so ready to give up and just go with the "let it be" mentality. That would work with USCIS.

It is unfortunate, but the only thing you can do after the service request is wait. Also, when they change their timeline next month or in two weeks if you are out of normal processing times go ahead and submit another service request. At least your case is in CSC they seem to get around their cases with responsibility, so hopefully you hear something soon.

I filed back in early Nov and just got approved less than 2 weeks ago, so whatever you do don't give up:)

I think it may have been partially because we only provided one statement each from several of our joint bank accounts, instead of providing them over the course of the marriage. So I was wondering, how many statements do you send from each account? i.e. every third or 4th month for the 2 year period, or every 6 months, etc?

Also regarding the affidavits, I misunderstood the "attested by 2 people" in the instructions and sent in >2 affidavits, attested to by one person each. On the summary of my evidence at the beginning of the RFE they did list that they received "3 affidavits", but I was wondering if I should send in additional ones that are actually signed by 2 people each.

We sent them every single statement we had from all of our accounts, and we didn't send any affidavits(we got approved without affidavits and without RFE's). But the way it works is each person writes his/her own affidavits and signs it and gives it to you guys.

I wish we had found this forum before submitting the application! A lot of helpful tips and users.

Sounds like our affidavits are probably alright then, we just made the mistake of not providing the statements throughout the course of the marriage. Really hoping that will do the trick!
