Today I entered US from Canada ( cruise ship) with 2 other non-citizens and they said no need to check your passports. Then I got home and got my new greencard with someone else's picture on it. To USCIS' credit at least they didn't put the pic of some dude.

No way LOL. Wow, what kind of penalty do they get, because most likely your picture is on that other GC. Wow. I bet it will take them at least 6 months to fix the issue, they will probably need to investigate how many more GC pictures they have swapped.

BTW, this is really sad, I hope they fix the issue soon. I wonder what explanation they will give you for their not so small mistake.

Same issue here buddy. Just got an RFE in the mail today asking for additional evidence. My wife and I separated twice, so we have gaps in time. Just emailed my lawyer today - Dying for an answer.

Am sad to say this but I received letter from USCIS saying that I have not established that marriage was into good faith, and the reason of that its because me and my wife were lazy on actually doing some joint stuff together, we have been in allot of financial issues that we used cash for everything, luckily we submitted two tax returns and only one been sent to the USCIS so I got one more year include for more proof. Since they want more information they requested these points:

Help us out, am seriously depressed because of this, I was suppose to go on vacation in July and now its canceled because of this, note that we have till Aug 15 to submit these papers. also we lived together for year and a half and I moved to another city year ago for work and to support my wife, also we spent vacation together within this time and I go home every chance I get, and sometimes my wife would come to the city am staying at and spend the night. also we are still love each other and still together and planning to get new place soon and move in together again cause I could finally save from the financial issues we had before.

Did you guys notice any change in your case status online when you received the RFE ? or is it still "Case Received"

A friend of mine got an RFE while he was living in NY and his wife in Florida. They wrote a letter explaining he had to work in NY because of his job, they submitted more evidence (tax returns, bank statements) and his case was approved.

I did not. I actually checked USCIS case status the morning I got the letter and it still said "Case Was Received." It still says "Case Was Received."

A friend of mine got an RFE while he was living in NY and his wife in Florida. They wrote a letter explaining he had to work in NY because of his job, they submitted more evidence (tax returns, bank statements) and his case was approved.

Spoke to my attorney today. Said he was very surprised by the RFE. Certain parts of the RFE makes no sense what so ever - They requested photos.. The original I-751 packet included at least 20 different photos of us spanning three years, covering half of Europe, Canada, Hawaii and mainland US. They also wanted a copy of the marriage certificate.. Which they already have. I'm almost wondering if they lost the evidence submitted. Oh well. Gonna submit everything again, with added evidence (If I can conjure up more).

FINALLY! Praise God! Good luck to all those who are still waiting for their approval. To those who received RFE, just submit all that they require you to submit, even if you think you have submitted it already. We received RFE on the 20th and submitted our response on the 26th and presto! We got our approval just today!

Congrats Shine11! I am getting a little nervous. I am the only one in CSC pack that has not received anything, no interview, no RFE, no approval. I called them but I just got the same thing I have been seeing on my case status: Case was received. Does it sound normal? I submitted almost everything! It was north of 300 pages of documents spanned over 3 years of marriage.
