Still no bio letter here.

Called my attorney yesterday, he put in a request with USCIS on 2/2 to ask what's up, and said not to worry. He told me some cases don't require biometric appointments (although I have yet to see one on here that doesn't).

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't received your bio letter yet. California filing is really slow. Just recently got my bio n got it over with on feb 2nd. Hope you get yours soon. I know it's highly frustrating but will surely work out for good.

We finally called in for the third time Feb 2 and were able to get escalated to level two and speak with someone, but since my husband wasn't there by the time I got the call back 2 hours later they couldn't help but tell me that he had to call back with a fax number and they would fax the Bio Letter to him... He then called the next day and the woman on the phone told him that they had only started his paperwork on Feb 2nd so he would have to wait a couple of weeks... Sounds strange but at least the NOA1 gives us a year for them to figure it out... :clock: for now it's the waiting game. I agree with Ms Hogan that at least he and I are together for this part.

US consulate :Bombay.
29th January 2012:marriage
9th April 2012: i130 sent.
17th April 2012: NOA1 received...
13th December 2012:NOA2 received......
08th January 2013: Case number assigned by NVC
08th January 2013: paid AOS and IV bills.
28th January 2013: Sent AOS and IV packages to NVC..
20th February 2013: NVC sent checklist about our PCC ....
25th February 2013: We responded to checklist.
26th February 2013:Case completed....
4rth April 2013: Interview date...
Interview result: Approved

06th June 2013 : Reached USA

29th june 2013: Received conditional greencard...

14th March 2015: I-751 package sent to VSC.

18th March 2015: USPS delivered my package.

22 nd September: Approved for Permanent Residence Card.

25th July: NOA1 for N-400.

After calling and getting a hold of someone, it seems the case had been missed and they then sent out the letter the following day with a date for the Bio finally.

i just checked online processing time in which they said they are working on June 3rd 2014 files right now . so we will have long wait i think so .

Sounds like your lawyer is just making up answers. I don't think anyone doesn't do biometrics. Many don't do interviews so maybe that's what he meant?

Coolmind1414, my advice would be to get a new one with the extension letter. Waiting on GC only God knows how long it wld take n you don't wan be driving with expired license. A police man won't understand you are waiting for your Gc. Go ahead n renew it, then you can go hard more years when you get your new GC. GOOD LUCK
