Hi,

Brian and I are nearing the end of being parted. His Consulate interview is Nov 18.

If he needs to go back to visit his parents in Vancouver Canada, while waiting for his green card (adjustment of status), what do we need to do?
I read somewhere it was "Advanced Parole", but I also read something that was not necessary for Canadians.

Anyone have any advice?

Thanks

I believe you either need advanced parole or there's something called automatic revalidation and you need copies of for i-94. But, neither are guaranteed depending on your border guard really, so if he needs to leave, it should be a super good reason.
