Which of the following Documents I need to send for my 5 years old Step Daughter Case IV Package?

-Two passport-style photographs (2" x 2") of beneficiary (on the back, write: beneficiary's full name, date of birth, and case number)

-Copy of bio-data page of beneficiary's unexpired passport

-Original or Certified Copy of beneficiary's birth certificate, PLUS A PHOTOCOPY

Do I need to send the Original or Certified Copy of marriage certificate between her mother and myself?

I am pretty sure I don't need to send the Original police certificate(s) since the child is only 5 years old. Or do I?

My wife already has a Visa on hand.

Hello DB,

You are correct in the documents that are required for a step-child. I petitioned for my 5-year old step-daughter as well and that is what I sent. A police record is only required for people age 16 or older or have been arrested. In my case, my husband and step-daughter's cases were processed simultaneously so it was easy to connect them. In your case, I would probably send the marriage certificate as well just to prove the connection to your step-daughter. Better safe than sorry, if you ask me! Just remember to send a photocopy so you can get it back! Good luck!
