Is EAD and AOS process separately??? My EAD is recently approved...waiting the card in the mail. My AOS currently on review because of USCIS mistakes and still waiting for the result. Just want to confirm if EAD and AOS are being handled by differentl offices? Thanks!!!!!

Yes, they are processed separately, once they determine that your EAD application is based upon an already submitted AOS application (if you're K1 or AOS from marriage). An RFE or administrative revue on your AOS should not hold up your EAD.

If you don't receive the card in the mail within a week or 2 after you rec'd the approval notice, make an INFOPASS appointment at your district office, they might be able to issue a temp card, or find out what's happened to it.

Yes. We applied for AOS, AP, EAD. All three were processed separately and emails for USCIS and USPS notices came separately. Each has a separate receipt number.
