The bio took less than an hour, so it wasn't bad! I did an early walk-in so I had to wait a little bit before entering (and I brought my purse, but no purse allowed inside so my husband had to take it

Lol there you have :) , yes the combo is with the advance parole it says so at the bottom

Hey question what is the ead say for category. Does it say adjustment of status? Or anything like that? It doesn't day undocumented worker does it? I saw this news story on tv but missed most of it and was curious.

Hey guys!

I'm a November filer, but could someone tell me how I can register for the sms/email notifications for EAD and for all the upcoming processes? I just had my biometrics done but haven't received an sms or email notification yet for anything.

When you applied for everything did you file the page for electronic updates? It's form G-1145.

If you didn't you won't get any notifications by text or email unless you go online here http://www.uscis.gov

And sign up for an account and sign up for those alerts.

I hope that helps.

Actully I already registered but when clicking on my case I get the following message:

"AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED. PLEASE CONTACT TECHNICAL SUPPORT"

In my profile, I have my email address and my phone number, but does it mean, I am registered for the notifications as well?

Actully I already registered but when clicking on my case I get the following message:

"AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED. PLEASE CONTACT TECHNICAL SUPPORT"

In my profile, I have my email address and my phone number, but does it mean, I am registered for the notifications as well?

I know when I signed up for mine I had 3 case numbers.1 for each application and after I added my number and email I had to click on the check mark to get notifications.

Trying putting in your case number on the same website without signing in. Check my case status and see if the same came up. Hearing about anything after your biometrics takes awhile though.

I did mine on October 22nd and my card for my work authorization came in on December 8th

It just says CO9P for the category. Not sure of what it means. But I'm guessing it has to do with the eligibility category from the I-765 form (question 16) which was ( c ) ( 9 )

I saw on another thread that Danielle got her interview date too. That's awesome! Happy for you guys! Since I'm adjusting from K1, I'm pretty sure I'll get the potential interview waiver letter. But I still have hope to get an interview date lol!

Yes that makes sense, because we both are from non K-1. I didn't think about that. I knew I had no chance of having interview waiver.. But It makes me kind of happy because seeing how long for some people is taking, would be so stressful. Specially because even I have AP its recommended to not leave the country for overstays... And I would like to go back to Spain to pick up the rest of my things by spring.

I really hope you get a date too!!! Maybe it's taking a few extra days because the RFE, If not at least you already have EAD :) and green card will just come on day on the mail :dancing:

Yes I've been following the interview waiver letter thread and it seems to take at least 6 more months to get the GC after receiving the letter. So getting an interview is better lol! But now that I have EAD (and soon DL too), it's ok. As for AP, I'm not planning on traveling until at least end of 2015. I should have my GC by then :P
