Yes, I had interview waiver dated June 27. That was one thing I never wanted to have since it takes long and therefore the day of ROC also prolongs.

The bio took less than an hour, so it wasn't bad! I did an early walk-in so I had to wait a little bit before entering (and I brought my purse, but no purse allowed inside so my husband had to take it

Yes I'm hoping to get an interview because right now it seems like a lot of people who get the interview waiver letter wait for like 6 months after getting the letter. But for people adjusting from K-1 it's a 50% chance of getting it. I hope your wait will be over soon!

When did you get your RFE? When did you file?

We sent documents on July 30, NOA1 was August 5, we got a RFE letter August 23 (was nothing about it on the website when we checked), went to biometrics September 5, RFE response was sent on September 18, and on September 19 it changed to RFE response review, and since then nothing at all. EAD and AP are on initial review stage since August 1.

And we went to infopass appointment in Atlanta office on September 9, but it was just waste of time.

Ok that makes sense now!

That sucks about the waiver it's true the GC takes longer....and with that ROC. In some way it's good to skip all the nerves having an interview , but at this point there is nothing weird they would ask..just about your marriage.

Matt had the Biometrics today. Used GPS on the phone to find the place, fairly easy really.
He had to wait in a queue, then go through security, where they check that you have your ID, the appointment letter notice and no cell phone.

Then you fill in a questionnaire, with information from your notice, height, weight, eye color, hair color, etc

Then you hand that in, they told him where to sit and give him a ticket number.

Then he was called up, she put in his information, scanned his fingerprints, took his picture.

That's it.

All together he was there an hour.

K-1 Visa -  Date of arrival to US  Aug 30, 2014

Married September 26, 2014

AOS: SEPT 24th, 2015 GREEN CARD RECEIVED !! 

ROC:  Oct 10, 2018    Approval of ROC via online USCIS site.  

Naturalization: March 26th, 2021 Approved!!

As of 2022, we are working towards moving back to Australia likely in 2025.

Haha yes I did the same (I actually had an update the same day of my biometrics, it was a RFE, not the kind of update you wish for lol!). But who knows maybe the Atlanta office is going to start working fast! :rolleyes:
