I thought a thread for the Atlanta local office would be helpful for tracking progress. :)

We are from Tenn, but closer to ATL than Memphis. And FYI, using the zipcode to tell which office is our "local" office listed Memphis. So for months I thought we would have to travel over 7 hours for Bio and Interview.

ATL is 3.5 hours but that is still better than 7 :)

AOS: SEPT 24th, 2015 GREEN CARD RECEIVED !! 

ROC:  Oct 10, 2018    Approval of ROC via online USCIS site.  

Naturalization: March 26th, 2021 Approved!!

As of 2022, we are working towards moving back to Australia likely in 2025.

The bio took less than an hour, so it wasn't bad! I did an early walk-in so I had to wait a little bit before entering (and I brought my purse, but no purse allowed inside so my husband had to take it

Hey this is great. Ive been wondering how other people with same office was doing.

I did my biometrics the past September 30 and no news since then :( I see all the time people who filed the same month and have their EAD and even interview date.

I wonder if there is something wrong with our office if it's the slowest or what's going on

Hey there! Yea, I think after reading some of the threads from earlier this year from people that were going through ATL, there may be a bit of a backlog.

The 2 people I found had them getting their EAD cards in about 72 days.

Interviews were scheduled in about 3 months or so.... but again, that was 2 whole people lol.

haha I've been also looking for some info in the area and isn't too many people. And the ones I found from very long ago.

I know 3 people from September who are from Atlanta too, also waiting for news. Let's see if there is any August or someone with information about the area

Hope since your status updated, you will hear something soon.

The bio took less than an hour, so it wasn't bad! I did an early walk-in so I had to wait a little bit before entering (and I brought my purse, but no purse allowed inside so my husband had to take it back to the car!). The officer at the entrance checked my bio appointment notice and my ID. Once we got in, we had to file out a piece of paper (age, weight, size, hair/eyes color, A number, etc). Then we handed over the piece of paper to an officer who stamped my bio notice and we got a number and went to sit and wait for our number to get called. Once the number gets called, they take your fingerprints and picture. People are really nice!

N-400:

Ive been busy lately with my sisters in law but the days I'm home all day it's scary the amount of times I refresh uscis website with the case number!

Holy cow 10 months!!!!??? with no RFE still no news!!! that's ridiculous

What's going on in ATL, I see if the EAD may take around 70 days I better entertain myself with something because I'm a month from those dates... :(

That's crazy!!! So I'm assuming you got a potential interview waiver letter? When did you get it? I guess we have to be super patient! :unsure:
