Sent AOS, No repsonse yet

Hey everyone im hoping someone can shed some light on this issue.

I immigrated to the US in late august, got married to my spouse, after going through all the necessary paperwork I have sent off my AOS,

I used the tracking code, and says they have received it 2 weeks go from today.

The question is that I haven't received any notice from them even though I had filled out the notification form G-1145 which says they will notify me when they have received it. I haven't received anything.

Plus does anyone know how long it will take for them to respond, I know it varies but just a general outline.

Other than that im just freaking out thinking something has gone wrong, and the know the saying, no news is good news, still doesn't put my mind at ease.

hi there! We mailed out my husband's AOS package on August 2nd, and didn't hear a thing from them until August 19th! I couldn't believe how long it took, and I was getting very worried, especially since the USPS confirmed that our stuff was delivered on August 4th. I'm not clear as to why, but some people just take longer. I hope this puts your mind at ease somewhat. FWIW, our NOA1 dates are August 6th. We also requested email and text notification, and within about 5 min, all 6 confirmations came to both email and phone! (We also have a K2 filing, so 3 numbers per applicant). Good luck!

There have been reports of it taking a month or more to receive the AOS receipts (NOA1) from USCIS. It is good that you have delivery confirmation from USPS. Have they cashed the check?

Hang in there, you will get your AOS receipts from the National Benefit Center, the receipts will likely have a three-letter prefix of 'MSC.'

Thanks to both of you, your answers somewhat put my mind at ease, I was just concerned because they hadn't responded to me even though I had filled the G-1145 form, which says they will. So I guess I just have to wait, wait and wait,

Creag06, EXACT same situation here, according to usps our package arrived at the chicago lockbox October 10th, I did not hear one word from them since than... I just called my bank and the check wasnt checked yet either... I noticed that you live in the Grand Rapids Area too, do you think it could have something to do with that??

Heya mate, yeh maybe, however the Chicago lockbox collects AOS from all over, it wouldn't matter I don't think that its because we are from the grand rapids area. My package arrived at the lockbox on October 12th, so you lt me know if u hear anything

I will let you know... it is VERY VERY frustrating! especially when it should take around 9 days and in our cases it already took like 18...

Same her....My wife's AOS package arrived at Chicago lockbox at 2:00pm on 10/20 based on confirmation from USPS. Still waiting on th email/txt NOAs. They haven't cashed the check yet.

I haven't been waiting nearly as long as you guys but Chicago received my AOS package on 10/23 and they still haven't cashed the check or sent me a notification.

First, please update your timeline in, please. By completing the timeline will help you and others to figure out the process. There are the differences between adjusting of status from K-1 visa and any other visas - which is very important for you after biometric appointment-. Secondly, it usually takes up to 30 days to received confirmation. One of my VJ members here used tracking code and confirmed USCIS had received the package but the check wasn't cashed yet. Again, wait until up to 30 days and you can started to call them.

Just got an email and text that my packet was received!

This just gave me extreme anxiety(((((

Our files were received on the same day and they still have not even cashed my check or sent out any notices(((
