Hi just want to know if there are any fellow new Yorkers that went through fiancé or spousal visa from Dominican republic. Just curious how spouses have adjusted to arriving into new York, finding jobs, and any ideas on what they can do to make the days go faster while we are at work. My fiance will be arriving to new York in about a month and would like to make him as comfortable as possible. Thanks:)

He will be fine, at new york live a lot dominican so it is easy for him be confortable there.

I think he will adjust just fine, as was posted ealier, the culture will be there.

Hi all , given the mailing issues in D.R., can someone tell me how your fiances retrieve or plan on retrieving their packet #3 to receive the letter he needs to take to get his medical exam? My fiance lives in a small pueblo and I know he won't recieve any mail where he lives.

You can get it by e-mail, just e-mail them and try to get it, if you know your interview date then e-mail them.

Or just call them and try to find an answer.

Many times the letter arrive to the small town and countryside
