It seems the package I am putting together is at least a half inch thick. I've included flight info, pictures, phone bills, ring receipt, pic of engagement ring, my passport pics, his passport pics and a number of emails. All of these things have been broken down on a month to month basis with an explanation of the dates travelled and pics to support it. I keep feeling like I am overthinking it all but then I also figure too much is better than being asked for more later in the game.

After reading many postings, I see that some of this info isn't needed until the interview (emails/phone bills) but I also figure we will need more things like that to prove on going relationship since petitioning. We also share a daughter whose birth certificate is included as proof of relationship. My thought is with the little time I have to dedicate to putting it together, I only want to have to add a bit more closer to the interview and hopefully won't lose track of what is what and what goes where.

Am I being #######? Will sending a large package hinder our request? Am I just looking for reasons to freak out as we get ready to actually send this stuff. I assume it gets easier once it's out the door and you've made the very real decision to move countries.

Actually, the package I sent off was about 2 inches thick :) I included as much as I could, including like 70+pages of our online skype conversations. I don't know what others do, but my train of thought was the more the better.

I think you'll be fine with what you have.

Thanks, I feel better knowing I'm not the only one sending a ton (it probably really is more like 1" -1 1/2" but didn't want to seem like I was sending EVERYTHING)

WOW! Your process seems to be going really fast! Good for you!!! And best of luck!

In the petition you provide evidence of having met within the past two years

I cut this from another post... It is from an RFE that another member received:

LAST MEETING: the petitioner and the beneficiary must have met in person between October 17, 2004 and October 16, 2006. Submit evidence of meeting the beneficiary in person within the two-year period preceding the filing of the petition. The primary evidence may include copies of passport pages that show the identification page and admission stamps, military orders, letters from Commanding Officer, or any evidence that will help the Service to determine that the petitioner has met the beneficiary within the two years. The secondary evidence may be airline ticket stubs and receipts (that indicate month, day and year), ATM and credit card transactions, flight itinerary on airline/travel agency letterhead, etc. NOTE: secondary evidence is used to support any primary evidence that has been submitted. The following DOES NOT constitute evidence of meeting: disc, videos, emails, letters, phone bills, and greeting cards.

YMMV
