Here is another thread from LL when her SO went through a field investigation.

Thanks yet again Omoba! Bassi and Zainab suggested to me to contact the field investigator since she gave me her email address and say that my mother in law contacted me and was concerned that her hesitancy to answer questions from a stranger might affect her son's case. I did take that advice and wrote an email to the investigator and told her the above and that my mother in law would like to invite her back to answer any questions she had if she needed a more complete case. I hope it does some good. Time will tell. Reading through LL's experience helped me as well.

That was good advice.
