ustraveldocs.com for hkg?

not need to do anything - instead - pay attention to the interview letter that comes from NVC.

Seriously !

OK! I was only doing what the downloaded pdf from the state department told me to do.

For whatever countries ustraveldocs is available, CR1/IR1 applicants generally only use it to register the delivery address for the visa (check IV address registration above Immigrant Visa and Nonimmigrant Visa) . If you have already paid all the necessary fees (AOS, IV) at the NVC stage, don't pay for any additional fees on ustraveldocs at this point.

Thank you for this response StrawberryKiss. This answer has cleared up all of my confusion. Thank you very much!

By the way, where exactly did you read that you have to use this website? I was checking on the embassy website and it seems to be the case for K visas, not for cases that are processed through the NVC.

I read it on the HNK - Hong Kong pdf that was downloaded for interview instructions. Inside that document it says:

"Immigrant Visa Delivery

Passport and Immigrant Visa (IV) packet delivery is done through SF Express. Applicants must sign on to ustraveldocs.com/hk to register and select a delivery address before the visa interview. Passports and IV packets can only be delivered to Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, New Territories, Lantau, Chek Lap Kok and Ma Wan."

ya, focus on your profile there, and also the document delivery section.

That's it, really. don't bother to self-schedule, as I THINK you already have an interview appointment letter.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

There is nothing you need to do until you get Your interview letter. If you were going for a k visa, that's when you go and fill out the form and make your appt. Cr1 is totally different
