What do you think you have proven? There isn't a directly definitive answer to the exact way the universe was created piece by piece, so .................God?

I haven't proven or tried to prove anything. you'd think people that insult others for their beliefs would be able to prove something. well, something other than they're arrogance.

Ironically and rather hypocritically, the most religious are quite at ease rationalizing abstractions based on superstition and yet they seem unable to deal with theories founded on evidence.

1. No completely known but there are lots of theories on it.

2. Same

3. That one is easy. They didn't die out...... yet.

Keep in mind, unanswered questions are no way to discredit something completely. A religious person should completely understand that. Some answers will come and some will stay out of the reach of human hands for the foreseeable future. That's what makes it so fun guys.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. That's what guides a lot of religious people and why scientists/man, in the quest to be all knowing, knows nothing and are so destructive.

It doesn't work like that. Scientists are interesting in finding out what happened by reading the code. Not disproving God because they cloned a sheep. They wanted to see how it worked. And now we know. There's not magic, only cause and effect.

No one said creating humans was magic. But you would have to have something to work with before you create it, yes? Soooo, humans didn't create humans. And bananas and apes is just bologna.

Scientist are hellbent on taking God out of our life and making us practice Scientology.

Rare that someone so often indicates how little they know.

Wow! :wow: You really believe we split from a banana

We share DNA with just about every living thing on the planet. The Universal Common Ancestor is such basic genetics that phrasing things as you do prove you don't understand anything about it.

Prior to replicating DNA, which is a vertical gene transfer from one organism to the next generation, we had some very interesting horizontal gene transfers that are still evident today: symbiotic relationships like mitochondria in the human cell. People here are speaking loosely about life, and you have to be careful about that - like whether a virus is life in the same sense, injecting its DNA into a host in order to commandeer it for reproduction of itself.

Why does my four year old understand evolution and you don't? It really isn't complicated. He has been introduced to abiogenesis and the most likely kinds of life as we understand it on other planets. The big bang and expanding universe. Not even in kindergarten yet.

You want me to think I changed from a banana to a human. I think a four year old has a lot of imagination. For a 4 year old this may be easy if mommy or daddy says we came from bananas.

I see what you did there.

I thought it was cute. I like a little humor every once in a while. If not, people will go bananas in here.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

The human cell/mitochondria relationship is a fantastic one.

A virus is a good example too of maybe life maybe not. I've always bordered on "not life" myself. Like you said though, depends on what one considers life.
