Although my case was not updated online, I received an appointment letter for the I-485 initial interview on August 30 at 7:01PM! :star: I only filed on May 2, so guess I thought I'd have a lot more time. I won't complain though.

Is there a checklist pinned somewhere of things I need to bring, like if I need an updated affadavit? I've been on the AOS forums all day searching but I'm hopeless and the checklist in the appointment letter is useless and confusing.

Okay maybe tomorrow I can figure out how to update my timeline!

But anyone else waiting in NY, have hope that they appear to have caught up with the huge backlog they have! :luv:

TY Huffy...appreciate that.

Rebecca, I emailed you...

Hey Estella, EXCELLENT news! :D:luv:

Good luck for the next few days Alison (F)

Sorry I can't help much on the interview list Estella. I haven't checked much into it myself yet and now my case is in CSC...I remember seeing one somewhere though...maybe checkout the AOS Forum on people recently approved as they often list all the things they took with them.

Glad to hear you and Adam are doing well! :D

Congrats Alison on what i'm sure is a hectic but happy time. I'm here in Michigan as well - Midland to be exact. And while it's supposed to be hot hot hot this weekend - it's also supposed to be beautiful. Best of luck and good wishes your way!

And so he did what countless punk-rock songs had told him to do so many times before: he lived his life

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Good luck out there!

Hi Joey. Good to see another Michigander here. Yeah we know how hot it's going to be and not looking forward to it. Yes it is a very hectic moment, finishing the dresses at the moment. :) Hope the interview goes well for you on the 24th. :) Good Luck.

It is *so* hot here.

Not made better by being in an un-airconditioned office with no openable windows. All I have to look forward to is a slow hour and a half train ride home on a packed commuter train (also un-airconditioned) in the beating sun. Then it would be home to my similarly un-airconditioned second floor flat. There's just no escape. I'm melting!

Welcome to the UK. ;)

I didn't think I'd be saying this this summer. But I'm pretty glad I'm in Utah! Since it's just as hot back in the UK, but here I have my husband and A/C. :)

Yeh I feel pretty grateful sitting here in my air conditioned office at home in VT while my folks are stifled in London. Actually, I do worry about them as they're not getting any younger  The heatwave in Europe in 2003 killed 27,000 people. The summers over there are becoming a serious problem.
