Well two weeks and 4 days to go :D I had a wonderful time yesterday in Birmingham shopping nearly all day with my sisters and our kids and it was great fun. Unfortunately one sister couldn't make it but hopefully she can see me before I leave. My foster mom is coming down from North Wales on the 12th of May :)

Hope all of you are doing okay.

Well, a comprehensive update for all the London grads...

Ewen's been here about two-and-a-half weeks now. We're not wasting any time with AOS stuff—we've already got his vaccination supplement sorted (well, mostly sorted...the CS made a mistake on the form so they're re-doing it at no cost), his SS # application in (yes, he was "in the system," so it was problem-free) and my boss is getting my employment letter for the I-864 ready. We'll have a busy couple of weeks ahead—once Ewen gets his SS #, we'll be getting him a bank account (probably we'll get the I-864 notarized at the same time), and then we'll be filling out the rest of the paperwork...oh, yeah, and getting hitched! :P

I think Ewen's doing well so far, but for a more comprehensive report on that, he'll want to speak for himself! ;)

Hope everyone else is doing fabulously!

FWIW, which of the many online British food stores have the best prices and service? I think Ewen could really do with some Walker's crisps.

Glad to hear Ewen got there alright and is settling down okay. I hope he can let me know what he had to do when he got to the Immigration room at Newark, I mean, did he had to go somewhere different as he was emigrating etc? I would like to know cause I arrive there from Birmingham International on the 18th of May, yep two weeks today. :D

Oh here's a link for some Walker's crisps :D

They may not have the variety of flavors, but Lays actually are part of Walkers (or the other way round) so he won't be that deprived. For me it was an ideal opportunity to wean myself off the ####### I used to eat in the UK and vow never to eat any of the ####### in the US cos it seems far, far worse. So far, so good!
