Well we had our interview Oct 21st 2014 London embassy United Kingdom and it went well just need more proof of relationship. The website that we were given https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv very confusing. There is immigrant visa and non immigrant visa and I was unsure which category K1 fiance falls under so we picked immigrant visa and made an account but it looks nothing like the form says it should because we are being asked to submit another payment. We already paid in cash at embassy I sent emails in to show receipt and request help has anyone else experienced this? any advice? It has been a week we have the evidence needed but we cant get past this part of the screen.

K1 is processed by the Immigrant Visa Unit in London so the choice of immigrant is correct. I don't understand why you need that payment website if you already paid. What are you trying to accomplish?

K-1 visa is non-immigrant visa.

K-1 is technically a non-immigrant, but it is a special visa type since it does in fact have immigrant intent. K-1 visas are processed by the immigrant visa sections of the consulates.

~ Moved from K-1 Process to UK regional - topic is specific to London ~

Did you not already have an account on there? Just had a look at the page you posted through your link and it looks like you should have had an account set up before you attended your interview. So, perhaps it is asking you to pay, assuming with a new account, that you still have to attend your appointment and submit the payment and relevant forms?

That's the thing at the interview I was told I was suppose to have already set my account and paid my payment. I panicked but They allowed me to pay in cash there on the spot. The website is asking for another payment but I already paid but I now plan to go directly to my local postal carrier to get my documents out. I will no longer wait on this website to submit my documents.

You have to go through DX courier, not a Royal Mail postal carrier. You did understand that in the PM?

And yes, London will accept payment on the day if you didn't follow instructions and do it in advance.

Others interested--When somebody needs to submit the passport and a missing document after the interview, they call DX for a pickup and pay for the delivery service to the embassy as well as return of passport back to beneficiary. That contractor paying website does not have that capability to handle exceptions.

I have another question that website says the embassy will be notified that im sending my documents in, if I go directly to DX how will the embassy be notified? Is there a possibility that my documents can be discarded?

Nick-Nick has asked me to lend a hand and I will try and answer best I can.....

Firstly go to the top of the United Kingdom and read the 'INSTRUCTION MANUAL' that has been put together. I have followed it religiously and it has been a great help. It's there for a reason................

If the embassy did not receive payment electronically and if you paid cash then you need to check your bank account. If payment left your bank account electronically, I would email the embassy and request the necessary process to send in supporting evidence for a refund.

You CANNOT send any information to the embassy without using the DX courier. If you log on to THEDX.CO.UK there is a contact page and give them a call. I am 100% sure they will help you. I have had a very recent similar experience and all went well if a little delayed.

In summary, if at your interview you were given instructions to follow then follow them. Get the necessary paperwork to the embassy via DX and then wait for updates on the CEAC website.

That's odd, I wonder why they wanted evidence of your relationship. Did you not send any with your I-129F petition? As far as I have read, London is usually pretty lax about that aspect.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.
