I found out that my wife's case is now complete. The nvc contacted Rio yesterday (oct 29th) with my case information and now we are waiting to hear back with an interview date. Do folks know about how long the Rio Consulate takes to schedule interviews? Are interviews assigned in blocks? If so, does this happen at a particular time of the month (beginning, end, middle)? If not, can we expect to wait a week or two before we are contacted? Or more a month? Thanks in advance!

Your visa is not K-1, so it might be different. You can do a quick timeline search to have an idea.

Also, I've noticed that K-1 interviews are always on Tuesdays, maybe there is a day of the week for you too.
