Tax return transcript =Letter 1722 issued by the IRS.?????????

[x] _________2013__________________________ Federal income tax returns, IRS printout, or Letter 1722 issued by the IRS.

This is what I got for my checklist and I thought they need 2013 tax return transcript but they say they need actual tax return that IRS prints out???

I see people saying tax return transcript is the same as letter 1722, is this true?

when I called, first person said I need transcript but the second person said its different from transcript.

I'm confused................

I filed my tax return and amended it, I don't understand why they look for 1722

anyone had the same problem????
