Hey there!

We filed early July this year and then, me (the beneficiary) was living in Italy.

I'm from Argentina but I hold double citizenship (Argentinian - Italian). I'm moving back to Argentina (changing my legal residency back to Argentina from Italy) and we haven't received our NOA2 yet.

When we filed, we stated Italy as country of residency and we requested to use the consulate in Argentina, since I'm going to be there by the time of interview.

Do we need to submit any papers BEFORE WE RECEIVE THE NOA2 letting them know I'm moving? Or should I just enter my new residency information at the moment of filing the papers for the interview?

Confusing, I know.

Thanks for the help!

When we filled k1 i was in saudi arabia.. then i moved in philippines... when we rwceived our noa2..we called nvc everyday to check our case so that they can change the case no. To philippines..  when we called them they made saudi case no. And about to send to saudi us embassy, luckily our case is still at nVc so we have a time to change the us embassy consul.

Now we are approved and fly to uS soon.......

For me that is fine... when u receive your noa2 call the nvc after a week they ask them to change your address.....

Thanks! But when you filed, did you state you wanted the consulate in Saudi Arabia or in the Phillipines?

It depends on the reviewer. I knew some one they stated in the form that tgey want in pH  but still they send thier case in dubai. The consul said normaly they will send the case to physical address when u filled.

We put pHilippines in our form but still they about to send to saudi..they made saudi case no. Then  we called nvc to change it to phil.

If you are lucky and your case still at nvc you have a time to change it. But if not i need to transfer it embassy to embassy and it takes long. I knew one also their case transfer from dubai to pH ..6 mos waiting.

Hi,

We need transfer our case from Montreal, Canada back to China, the consulate in China replied us that once we were back to China, email them proof os residence and they will inform us the next step, just wondering what kind of proof residence documents do you provide to them? Just want to get some ideas.

Thank you.

Generally, proof of residency includes an official identity card/driver's license with your address on it and a service bill (electricity, etc) showing you live in that country

Hi all! I'm a French citizen living and working in Canada. The consulate here is known to be very slow, unlike the one in France. I'm wondering if I'll be able to change embassy and do my interview in France to save time. Do I need to be living there or is being a citizen enough? Does anybody have proofs of it either way? I've been looking on the USCIS website to make sure but haven't found anything so far. Thank you!
