Hello Seniors,

This is my first post at visa journey.

Summary: My fiancee is a US citizen and lives in NY, USA and I am a Permanent Resident of Canada living in Toronto. We filed our I-129F petition in march 2014 and got our NOA2 approved on September 15, 2014. I have also got my MTL number from the NVC Centre.

On October 20, 2014, I received a package from US consulate montreal asking for my Immigration status document in Canada and that they wont be able to proceed ahead until I have send it to them. I have emailed them my passport copy and my permanent resident card to MONTREAL-IV-DV@state.gov email address on October 20, 2014.

I tracked my application online with my MTL number on ceac.state.gov website and the status says that its READY.

It also says the following thing :

"Your case is ready for you to schedule an interview at the U.S. Consulate General in Montreal. If you have already scheduled an interview appointment, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the Consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at:http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3731.html"

My question is what am I supposed to do now? Am I supposed to fill out my DS-160 form, schedule my interview and book appointment for my medicals or wait for them to notify me for the interview?

Also, what documents am I supposed to submit them (I-134, ds-156k) and carry with me for the interview?

All your help is really appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Piyush
