The unfortunate thing is that I'm seeing a number of very fast CSC approvals lately. Outside of the 13 day approval recently, there's another who just posted that they were approved at CSC with a NOA1 date of 10/6... while TSC looks like they have not approved anything at all lately. They have a few on the 15th, one on the 16th and one on the 20th. All non-transfers.. That's pathetic. It's already the 24th and not a peep from TSC. If they are so behind, start transferring more. Despite the fact USCIS claims they 'adjust as needed' it's a load of hogwash. If they did that, we wouldn't have months and months of large discrepancies. We wouldn't need to fight and make our voices heard to get a few petitions transferred.

Ignoring nasty comments, and no offense right now most people are going to be more annoyed with CSC posters than less, do what you have to do. It's your own relationship, not anyone elses. If you are able to contact a congressman/woman or senator, someone in charge, etc. by all means go do it. What do you have to lose? I have seen the sentiment time and again that people wished they had gotten their representatives involved much sooner.

Good luck

If you check the processing times you'll see TSC has been flying recently and they are now only a couple months behind CSC.

I don't know if there were more transfers but it's looking more positive! Hang on in there!

The processing times also include the folks in April and May who were transferred to CSC unfortunately. If you filter the K-1 Timelines page to 'Texas Service Center' then 'Not transferred' you'll get a better picture of how sad their approval rates have been. All the TSC approvals lately were CSC transfers :(TSC has not approved many on their own in the past two weeks.

That's really awesome for the folks who were transferred, or will be transferred if they do another push to get TSC in standard.. but doesn't bode well for those of us still stuck at TSC and waiting.

Sweet Angel87: Do not take advice from people who clearly are not up to date on government policies in America. There are proactive steps you can take - and the reason I know this and am not just saying it for "cotton candy clouds and soothing music for my emotions"- is because I've already contacted my local and state representatives. Most are very willing to help and already in my discussions with their offices, it is clear that they are unaware of the discrepancy between TSC and CSC and are interested in helping. Just because one person had to wait months or years does not mean that you just have to accept your circumstance and do nothing about it. As I stated in another thread on this topic- we are not talking about a one or two month discrepancy- we're talking about people who are getting approved in 13 days versus 6-7 months. So can you do something? Absolutely. Find out who your local Congressmen/women are and your state senators & start making phone calls and writing letters. And continue to follow up with them. These are elected officials by the American public- part of the reason they are there is to assist tax paying citizens with situations like these. You do have rights & you have the right to assert those rights. And the other noise- just ignore it because it is not benefiting or helping anyone on this forum.

JamesRenee,

Very well said!!! I will take your advice and do something today. There is no reason why things are being done the way they are between the two service centers. It is up to us as citizens to try and make a change in how petitions are being processed. For all of us at TSC it is unfortunate we have to watch others getting approval in less than two weeks while we wait months. I wish everyone the best and many prayers for all.

As a person who will most likely be stuck at TSC for the future until whatever planets align and result in an approval, yes it is sad to see how fast CSC applications get approved. BUT at the same time, I'm so very happy for every one of those persons that do get approved. It means they are just one step closer to be together with their loved ones. I'm neither envious or impatient. Life is never easy or fair. Look how long my fiancé and I have been apart. That was not easy, and it continues to not be easy every single time we have had to say goodbye at an airport or every day we say goodnight. I think there are a variety of reasons why TSC is slow. Some of those reasons make sense to me even when they are not fair. And sure, your elected representatives are supposed to work for you. However, what's supposed to happen and what does happen can leave one with a very bad taste in their mouths. Maybe they will do something for you, but don't expect a miracle.

Every time I become frustrated my fiancé reminds me that having a period of waiting can actually work to one's benefit. If your fiancés are employed it gives them an opportunity to save to help ensure greater stability and freedom. It gives them time to get their house in order. It gives you time to get your house in order. It even gives you time to plan out your wedding if you want something special, like we're trying to do. It gives them time to say goodbye and spend precious moments with their family members which they won't see for a very long time afterwards.

Look, we're all crabby when we're waiting.. when we encounter mind-numbing infuriating bureaucracy. Do whatever it is that makes you feel useful, what passes the time. And remember if you think that this is bad, I'd be apt to remind you that things involving UK immigration are not pleasant or favourable to US citizens right now -- even to those who have already married their UK spouse.

I don't even listen to uninformed people so it slides right off my back. Would informing you of my elected officials make a difference since they are Pennsylvania elected officials? If you live in PA perhaps- but you don't so what purpose would that serve? And I don't know why you corrected me...because it is State Senators. I'm pretty aware of the titles of our government officials as I vote for them on that little day known as Election Day. Again- I don't listen to the uninformed noise from others. I give people helpful advice based on what I have researched and been able to take from conversations I've had with elected officials. And again- these are state and city specific so listing every congressman/woman or every senator in the country does not even remotely make sense. That's how I know that individual is uniformed. If anyone does need help finding who their local representatives are- message me and I will help you find them. On a personal note- in the job that I do, we contact our officials regularly about all many issues & not only have I seen change done- but I have seen great change done. I will have conversations with people who have a clue what they're talking about- I won't be bothered by negative noise & juvenile insults though as I am an adult and can address people with respect. A characteristic that some clearly lack. Ghandi though...that's a new one. Very intelligent reponse I must say (in my most sarcastic tone)

James Renee done and done. Thank you for your kind words. Ning- no need to be so nasty. Not sure why you're assuming that you're so much smarter than everyone else. Not sure why you keep insisting we all don't even know who our representatives are. That's pretty snobby. Go take a long hike off a short pier please.

If you did why didn't you contact them? Why don't you know what to do to ask them to help you? I don't keep insisting rather I am simply dealing with the facts. Take responsibility for what you have done.

Nasty? Ok which way is the pier? I can survive that without whining about the fall. I don't need you to hold my hand until I get a warm glow unlike your self.

SweetAngel87: Just do what I do- block ignorant people. It's not even worth it to respond to them as clearly they have nothing better to do than to try and tear people down with negativity. Some people clearly had a bad experience coming into the country for a reason. That reason is becoming pretty evident.
