My online status was recently changed to "My oath will be scheduled".

Does anyone know how long it is likely to be until my oath is scheduled, or when the actual oath ceremony might be? I'm in Denver.

Or call customer service and ask to talk to 2nd tier officer. He/she will tell you the date.

Thanks, KTAM. My status just says that I'm in line for scheduling at the moment, so I'm not sure if I'm able to call about the date.

How long do people normally wait between being in line for a cermony and receiving the ceremony date? I have a trip in June that I may have to miss if it's scheduled for then.

Hi,

I filed in the Denver office as well. And it's time to update my somewhat unusual case.
My interview took place on 4/30, and I was one of the very few to show up that day since USCIS obviously did not send out any interview notices to those who were supposed to show up for their interview on 4/30. I got my interview notice through fax after several phone calls.

My coworker who got email notification about interview being scheduled also on 3/23 chose not to follow up on his interview appointment, and thus he obviously missed his interview on 4/30.
He received an interview notice on 5/7, and his interview is now scheduled for 6/9.

I received an update on my case on 5/19, directly to "oath ceremony notice was mailed" (from "interview was scheduled").
I received the letter on 5/26, and my oath ceremony is on 6/5 at the Denver field office in Centennial.
The office holds several oath ceremonies every week (at least two per week).
I was previously hoping that they would place me at the special oath ceremony at the courthouse on 5/29, but it didn't happen.

My interview took place on 4/30 ... I received an update on my case on 5/19, directly to "oath ceremony notice was mailed" (from "interview was scheduled"). I received the letter on 5/26, and my oath ceremony is on 6/5 at the Denver field office in Centennial.

So it was 19 days from your interview to when your oath was scheduled, it took a week for you to recieve the letter, and it was 17 days from when the notice was mailed to the actual ceremony. (36 days from interview to oath)

That timeframe does put me right in the middle of my trip, but I can't do anything about that. We shall see. Will just have to lose all the money we've paid - can't afford to reschedule the oath!

They might schedule you in an oath ceremony within a week since they hold quite a few ceremonies every week.

I would guess that every office operates a bit differently.

If you can present your upcoming travel documents, I would guess that you have a good chance that they will try to accommodate you.
If I were you, I would make an Infopass appointment. But that is just me.

Hi

So today it was my interview day, I arrived at the San francisco office all excited 30 minutes early, the place was empty, that was a bit surprising, any way queued up at the reception, presented my appointment letter to the receptionist, She went through one list, then another list and then another one, then a folder, then to my horror she says there is no appointment for you. She had the Letter in hand with todays date the 8th June 2015 8am, today is 8th june 2015 7.45am. So she checked in the computer and said your appointment was cancelled cause we didn't receive your file or something, Something was a concern but thats all I could get from her beside the fact they called me and mailed me a cancellation letter which I never received or any phone calls from them. I made an info pass and saw a lady who was puzzled as I was and sent me back upstairs again, I spoke to another lady and she told me the same a letter was sent and the reason was maybe your finger prints were not back or not up to standard. Not to convincing- I called and spoke to a supervisor and he was unable to give me any information as to why it was cancelled. So I guess the wait is on again
