This is unbelievable!

hiroin and I both got notified on 3/23 that our interview was scheduled and we have not received the notice. It's been more than 3 weeks. We both filed with the Denver office.

Today, I found out that a coworker of mine is applying for US citizenship as well, and he got notified on 3/24 that his interview was scheduled. He also has not received the notice.

It seems to me that the Denver office somehow fails to send out a big batch of interview notices.
Will there be a lot of no shows for interview for those who got scheduled on 3/23, 3/24?!

I would have to guess so...

This is just a guess, but it's possible that Denver is backlogged and your interviews have been scheduled for two months out (let's say May 23rd). USCIS usually send the letters out 1 month before the interview, meaning that even though your interview date was entered in the system on March 23rd, the letter wouldn't be sent out until the second half of April.

Like I said; just a theory, but when you see a pattern of something, happening to a number of applicants, it's usually intentional and not a mistake.

Let me list a few more facts on our cases:

1. I've talked to two 2nd tier officers on the phone, and both indicated that my interview will take place near the end of April. But they could not disclose any further detail about the interview due to the 7-day rule. (remember you even thanked me for providing the information?!)

2. I've been following this thread very closely since I am also a November filer. I've noticed that there are two other Denver filers in this thread. One got notified on 3/19, received letter on 3/23, for an interview date of 4/28. The other received letter on 4/1 for an interview date of 5/1. (I would guess this applicant probably got notified between 3/25-27.)

What conclusion would you draw from these data points?

I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem likely especially with the information provided to me by the second officer I talked to last Thursday. He told me that if I still don't have the notice in hand by 4/24 (he's ordered another notice to be sent to me), just give them a call and they would be able to help me futher, i.e. fax a copy of the notice to me. I wrote about it last week, and you even commented on it saying the officer was hinting that my interview will be on or before 5/1.

Another observation of mine is that Denver has really been speeding up their processing of N400 applications during the past three months. Mistakes could very well be made when they are processing nearly twice as many applications now compared with just about 6 months ago.

I didn't realize you were the same person... I think we already know that your letter was lost in the mail or not sent out or something. Mistakes are possible of course. I think the other guys in similar situations should call just like you did. I hope your letter shows up but if not, you're going to call at the end of April.
