Hi tobeUScitizen, it seems it is hit-and-miss, you got your interview notice before I did (I filled in November 2014).

i received a letter in the mail today stating that my interview was changed for 04/01/2015 @ 815am, is this possible or is it an april fool's joke. i'm calling uscis customer service number and waiting for a tier1 and see if its true, so i can get everything ready and practice even more

Don't waste your time on the phone. Your interview is on April 1st. You got lucky. If you'd received the letter tomorrow they would have said that you missed your interview and rescheduled you for a new one probably weeks later.

Even if someone on the phone tells you that your interview isn't tomorrow, follow the instructions in the letter. That's the only official document you have.
