What patients say during Colonoscopies

Colonoscopies are no joke ,

but A physician claimed that the following are actual comments made by his patients (predominately male) while he was performing their colonoscopies:

1."Find Amelia Earhart yet?"

2."Can you hear me NOW?"

3."You know, in Arkansas ,

we're now legally married."

4."Any sign of the trapped miners, Chief?"

5."Hey! Now I know how a Muppet feels!"

6."If your hand doesn't fit, you must quit!

7."Hey Doc,

let me know if you find my dignity."

8."You used to be an executive at Enron, didn't you?"

9."Could you write a note for my wife

saying that my head is not up there?"

Let's not forget that most of the time, people are sedated before a colonoscopy and the drugs probably gave them loose tongues...lol.

Yeah, just what is up with the photos???

My hubby had a colonoscopy a few months back and when it was over, they gave him a whole sheet of photos of his procedure from beginning to end! (pun intended):hehe:

He took them to work and asked all his work crew, "Hey! Wanna see a REAL a$$hole???"

I've had a couple of these . . . think I am due for another one but am avoiding for my own reasons, LOL . . . ok, the last time I had one, I reacted badly to the stuff you drink to clear you out before the procedure . . . I was going at both ends at the same time! when they asked me if I was able to finish the cleansing part, I had to say no . . . but it shouldnt be a problem as there wasnt anything there to get cleansed out!!

Other than that . . . I didn't feel a thing during the procedure and they didn't report that I said anything funny, witty or otherwise!!!

A lot of times if the doctor says that he is unable to get around to the cecum which is at the point he considers it to be a complete colonoscopy because the patient has so much fecal matter, he will sometimes say he needs to repeat the procedure!!!!! Can not imagine having to do that twice!!!!
