Wow that's a long wait since April interview. I wonder what would have happened if you were NOT home( big deal huh) a would they re schedule and visit again or would they jump to their own sweet conclusions?

Anyways, this is not normal from what I have seen on immigration forums... But good thing is - they saw you together living here. I am sure the result will be positive (hoping so).

Hello friends. So today morning Three officers visited our house. At that time, me and my wife went somewhere to buy same stuff and by the time we came back, we saw this car on our parking.

We park our car and interned our house. And these Three officers talk to us they said are you this guy? I said yes, they said we want talk to you about your marriage, and they also said is this your wife, I said yes, they said can we inter the house, we said sure why not. One of them interned and check our two bedroom house and in less than one minute he said that's it, I need to see you and your Wife's ID, we show them and they said that's it, we'll tell was we saw to the officer or your case .Thank you and they left. It was just three minutes at the most.

Oh, and he asked me is there anyone else lives with you guys, and we said no. And they left...

What do you guys think this situation??...

We had our interview april 7 2014, and we didn't get anything from them since.

Don't worry!!!

I know i shouldnt compare but my husband and I had the same situation in Poland while processing a residence permit for him.

Part of this process is interviewing neighbours. We were new in the neighbourhood so nobody said anything constructive, they decided to visit us directly.

We had to answer all their questions: how did we meet, does my family know my husband etc. They asked my husband to show his clothes and other personal items.

It was kinda embarassing, they were sorry and said that they had to do this.

We got the permit soon after. :)

Sooooooooo cheer up, maybe it was random and they might visit anybody :)

If you're not a citizen you're under immigration control.

On December 24, 2014, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx. Please follow the instructions in the notice. Your new permanent resident card should arrive by February 22, 2015, after this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Many thanks to all Visa Journey friends who were giving us advice every single day... Thanks a lot.
