well, I finished teaching my private class and walked her outside to find that Said had cut back the grossly overgrown rosemary bush, pulled out 3 lawn sized bags of weeds (counting the rosemary) and prepared a tagine for us for dinner. What a man!!! (L) We've been researching recipes for M'semmen to prepare for tomorrow in addition to a tagine of tomatoes & eggs, tea cakes, angel food cake, roasted pecans (sugar, cinnamon, & ginger coating), and strawberries & blackberries. We'll also serve a few different kinds of juice, mint tea, & coffee. Oh yea, there's also blueberry stilton cheese & crackers and I'll make an olive cream cheese to spread on bread if folks want it! Should be fun & yummy!

I think we'll head out soon for a treat of coffee & beignets :luv: .

That...is a first for me. :wacko::blink:

I'm not a fan either. I prefer chips & salsa!

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

Wowzers!!! You'll be in the kitchen for a while huh? Sounds like a lovely spread. :)

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

well, everything is just abt ready and smelling deelish! One couple had to cancel cuz they have a nasty case of the flu (I don't need to get sick, thanks!). As usual, I have too much food... My first attempt at M'semmen came out fairly well, but next time I'll need to make some changes. Said's tagine of egg/tomato/sweet peas smells sooooo good! I forgot to mention also that we found some tiny chicken/turkey sausages that have no pork anything in them/around them so, we're doing those too. They're really spicy! This is not looking good for loosing any weight anytime soon! :blink: . I'll let you know how it all "pans" out! :P
