Unable to pay full K1 visa application fee

Thanks for the update! My fiancé printed out the new deposit paper and took it to the bank this morning...BUT the bank doesn't want to take the additional 1200HTG. They claim that they can only can the paper once so they want scan it again. So I feel like we are brack where we started.

We submitted packet 3 on 10/31. The bank said the same thing to us. Ustraveldocs have proof of our payment because I sent them a picture of the receipt a constantly called and emailed them along with the embassy. They say that only the embassy can activate our receipt # so we can schedule then we can pay the difference on the date of interview. Hopefully that is what happens...we shall see. It suvks being on the front end of a new system. I know someone who recently sent in their packet 3, scheduled their interview date, then received packet 4 with a new interview date (2 days later than what she chose).

God is in this so it will work out fine.

Yes that's what they told me and they promised that by tomorrow I should be able to schedule an interview date, God willing.

Good morning Anna. I hope you have heard back from UStravelsdocs. I received an email from them last night (11/08 @11pm) saying they have activated our receipt , we can schedule an interview, and that the 1200htg will have to be paid at the interview. Praise the Lord!

I first emailed them about this issue with the picture of receipt on 10/29 then we submitted packet 3 on 10/31. Hopefully the embassy doesnt change my appt date in packet 4.

We first emailed them on 10/20 about the problem and included a picture of our receipt and we submitted packet 3 on Nov 4th. I hope they don't change our appt date as well!
