Well, I think the interview went good! I was interviewed by the store manager. The only issue I had was when I was talking to another person later on who was helping with the hiring and he asked me to put a "parenthesis" and then my maiden name on a form... I froze and mentally went "what" I wasn't sure what he meant, a colon? A semi-colon? Or something else... I looked at him blankly unsure of what to do or say, then he kind of drew it in the air as he said "parenthesis" and I blurted out "Oh! a bracket!" and then as flustered as I was I said "In Canadia we call it a bracket or at least I always have."

At this point in time I was about ready to kill my husband. The only time I have ever heard the word "Canadia" was when my husband or a friend of ours was making fun of me being from Canada or something Canada related. I felt like such an idiot!!! I eventualy stammered out "I mean Canada" but by that point I already felt like I was going to die of embarrassment.

BUT... despite this, I continued on with everything and at the end of it all I was asked to sign a couple things, given a medical form and told to go down the street to get a drug test done. My husband told me that they only do that if they're thinking of hiring you... so I should hear back from them in 4-7 days.

Keep your fingers crossed for me! I soon may be in shoe heaven!
