You can also mix it with henna to give your hair shine, and add redish or auburn tones? Mix henna with Chinese red zinger tea or coffee and it will give a darker tone. Henna is great, no chemicals, only natural, it doesn't damage the hair. But the coloration last only a few weeks.

I heard red vinegar makes hair shiny. I tried, it surely works. But the smell is a bit overwhelming!

Windex REALLY DOES WORK on ANYTHING!

I used it on a red dye that was on our MARBLE window ledge for months, sprayed windex on it, let it soak...and ta-da! GONE! Let it soak on your counter tops, and they will be soo much brighter...(i can't use bleach on ours.)

Not sure what beer does to your hair, but I know what it does to your breath (drink MINT instead)

Anyhow, you're probably right about mayo since I heard eggs can be used as a conditonner (mayonnaise is made of eggs and oil mixed together).
