Now I don't know if it was just the power of persuasion or maybe the mirrors need a cleaning, but I swear my hair is a little shinier :dance: Nice one Brother Dean :thumbs:

If you wash your hair with Lipton Tea, it's supposed to make it shinier.

So I washed my hair with my normal shampoo, by-passed the conditioner and poured fresh brewed Lipton Tea on my hair at the end. I didn't rinse it off or anything - it doesn't leave any tea smell - and my hair is definately shinier. :yes:

I added a teeny tiny bit of luke warm water to cool it down...otherwise I'd be winging my way to casualty for severe head burns!! Can you imagine explaining to them what happened :lol:

If you've got red hair, I highly recommend finding red zinger tea and using a cup of that, lukewarm to warm.

If you're a brunette, like me, apple cider vinegar works well after shampooing -- it strips away a lot of the ucky oils, very nicely.

Blondes do best with chamomile.

Oh. ;) And my family swears by using egg whites to get a very glossy shine.

How exactly would you go about that since apple cider vinegar has a strong smell? Leave it in your hair for a while and then rinse? Just curious as I would love to help out my hair :yes:
