Some familiar with how things are done at the Lagos consulate should please help:

* NVC sent my case file to Lagos consulate yesterday(10/21/14).

* I filled and submitted form DS-160 today(10/22/14).

* I have paid the $265 visa fee,

* I have done police clearance.

* I want to go for my medicals but I need interview letter/confirmation to show at the hospital for the medicals.(on hold)

My questions is:Should I go ahead and schedule my interview or wait for the consulate to instruct me to do so?

Thanks

Once you pay you can schedule your appointment I sure would do it now before the dates get pushed out even further. You window of selection isn't that big or long.

The embassy doesn't instruct you to do anything. It's up to you to schedule it and know when to.

Congratulation! ....Please did you pay the visa fee at the GT Bank or you paid dollars at the embassy? Also, did you schedule your interview date online yourself or did the embassy schedule the date for you?

Thanks.
