I am saying that many hundreds of millions of Muslims are radicalized. I am not saying they are all active Jihadist. I am saying the are either actively working or hold views that support radical Islam, even if not acting on them

You never fail to deny or deflect the truth., which is what the big question among us non Muslims always is. Why won't the 70% good Muslim community condemn the rest loudly and vocally. That speaks volumes.

It's been happening all over the world. Check out #notinmyname.

Second, why should we have to condemn something we don't even agree with. Why don't all of the gun owners denounce every time someone is killed with a gun?

But those killings aren't about Islam. That's what people don't get. Anyone can twist a holy book into something detestable. It's done here daily when it comes to gays. How not serving them equates to being a righteous person. The reason Islam gets targeted is because in there is no separation between church and state in the countries that Sharia law are in effect and there is no balance. Malaysia is mostly Muslim but how many issues do you hear coming from over there? If some dude went on a spree and said JC made him do it, we'd call him crazy, even if he pulled out the bible and quoted passages that backs up his claim. The abortion bombers come to mind. But if it's a Muslim, then the Qur'an is taken in a literal sense.

If the WBC or any fringe right group was in charge and took the bible to the letter, the end result would be just the same.

All that may be true, but there are 100's of Millions of these people out there who identify themselves as Muslims. Seems like Islam needs to be working full tilt to eradicate them instead of demanding we don't dare assicoaite them with Islam

Anywhere there is Islam in any numbers in the world there is this problem. Philippines included. Fact. Be mad at them not those who point it out

And those folks aren't trying to kill people. They're living their lives within their faith, not bothering anyone. When the Catholic Church scandal broke, and all those kids were assaulted, did everyone go out and eradicate the pedophiles? Did we call for all Christians to go out and wipe out anyone who was doing it?

Look at the murders in Malaysia and compare them to the US.

Maybe that's because you tend to leave out any gunmen that have a, oh what's the phrase I'm looking for, melanin deficiency.

Why do you think he would have that in his pocket? And if he did, what different does it make? My wife sleeps with a piece of paper that's in Arabic, to keep away bad dreams. If this is on her person, she's no more a terrorist than I am.

I am vexed as to why some of you want to degrade muslims so badly.

Marvin, you are misunderstanding me. I was citing an example - and not this case. And I am not bashing Muslims here. I am bashing the politicians and police that suppress evidence to "calm the masses" in certain instances where there is almost incontrovertible evidence of certain threats (like terrorism/racism/anti-semitism/name your scourge). They sometimes act as if the public can't handle the truth.

But getting back to hypotheticals: Don't you think it would have made a difference if the individual involved had his jihadi membership card in his back pocket?

But we don't know what he had on him. I have a Muslim ID card. If I went and shot someone, that wouldn't be right to use that as evidence that Islam makes people kill.

There certainly is a fair amount of selective thinking where muslims are concerned. There is an amount of prejudice involved in that thought process IMO - effectively to view muslims as a single monolithic group, rather than a collection of diverse individuals.

Much the same applies to blacks also - if a black guy kills someone, it's not just on him. Rather, there's an assumption that other blacks must speak out about it because they are all part of some national community.

We don't think about ourselves this way, why do people do it to minority groups?

Because we're different from them. This is why here and anywhere else when a murder takes place, the race and even religion will play a huge part in how folks react to the situation. Because douchebags claiming to be Muslims in the 9/11 attacks, it's going to be forever linked to us.

Like I said before, white isn't a color. It's an attitude.

I don't assume that or are you just speaking for yourself? Why is it though that when the coin is flipped and a black guy is killed, Michael Brown for example, that black people stand up for him as if he was doing no wrong when they ddidn't even know the guy? I don't stand up for other white people when they do something stupid and get themselves hurt or killed.

and that is the nut of the problem. A black race with it's youth in Jeopardy celebrating and promoting the lowest common denominator of it's society while mocking those that are trying to break free.
