Why? The military teaches you to be alert and aware of your surroundings. I just apply the same logic when I go out. Shady behavior can come from anyone. No one group of people has it locked down.

You forgot where I came from first. 7 years Army. But being overseas and hitting different ports, the Navy teaches you to be aware since the most dangerous thing to look out for is a attractive lady. Can't tell you how many folks get into trouble just from that.

My threat level is usually at Bravo, because it's better to be prepared than not.
