11+ in the Midwest and suprisingly warm outside. My wife and I are having an extended happy hour. Tomorrow, shopping among other activities, dinner at the Kona Grill, anyone heard of it?

You live in Indianapolis area?

I've been to the Kona Grill in Carmel..(or somewhere by Carmel...actually not sure where exactly it's at)

Kansas City, but I know that Kona Grill is in many cities. Good food, atmosphere and Sashimi!!!!

I like the 4-7 happy hour here, 1/2 price appetizers, including the pizza's. sushi, chicken filled potstickers etc...Damn, i am getting hungry...

So you been on the Kona Grill @ The Plaza? It get's insane there on Friday night! I live on KCMO too, North of the River.

I am heading 4 bed 2, need to work 2morrow...

Well hey there local!!!! The Plaza Kona is the one. Perhaps we will meet up there at some point. Friday there is rough, unless you arrive before 4 and capture a table, after that, forget it.

We are downtown at the moment, however, we are moving to the northland in March. We will still hang out in the Westport/Plaza area though. Small world it is.

Just finished working on our wedding playlist...we're making a compilation cd of some of our most special songs.

I gotta trim this down before it's a 4 cd set, lol

It's on my myspace page, if ya have the addy stop by and give a listen & then some feedback. There's a lot of 'I miss you/angst' songs and I'm not sure if there's too many :/.

I used to live Downtown @ Quality Hill and love it but moved to the North two years ago. Love it up here, closer to the Airport

We haven't even gotten to talking about wedding plans but the other day I thought about music for the reception and I was thinking that it be cool to have a live band if they could perform decent covers of songs we chose...or maybe a combination of live and recorded music. :star:

I'm still up because I am missing my baby too much to sleep. It's about 8a in Jordan he'll be up in 30 minutes to go to work and I'm gonna call him. If I don't hear his voice, I don't think I will sleep tonite. I know really cheezy, but I just got back to the states on Sunday from a visit with him and the first days back are always the hardest. :crying:

All of the old downtown buildings are converting to lofts and apartments. In the Financial district, they have some nice, yet expensive places. But at night, and on weekends, it is pretty quiet here.

Thus, we decided to get a bigger place, with a private garage, brand new and we can grill outdoors!!!

That is important for us, since we cook everyday. That is the main connection for us, we both have a passion and skill for cooking. Food is great!!!

I am waiting for Pieter to arrive so we can move to a bigger space/house. This apt will be too small for us but I would love to stay in the Northland.

I remember how dead was @ Downtown except for Tanner's and The Quaf, they get noisy LOL. On the weekends it looks like a ghost town LOL
