They received the applications on Sept 5th and I received them today - October 20th (52 days!)

Though my EAD card is dated as valid from October 8th.

did you ahd to send a return shipping label for anything in the package? i sent through ups but did not sent shipping return label

I am still waiting it has been 71 days today and still nothing! I read something about a service request and it is stating that I can request this after 75 days..... I think that applies to me.. Any way I guess I will ring them up next week. I want to be able to visit my relatives for Christmas, well just before and now I am becoming a tad concerned I might not be able to do that. hmmmm......

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

 

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

I did not do a return shipping label.

I often wonder if the reason it has been fast is that I have known my husband since 2009 and have spent a lot of time in the US

I think it's just luck of the draw and the ease of working through your specific package.

Ours went quickly but people who have had biometrics before us have had no movement. I think a ton of this process is where you fall in the pile.

09/04/14 - Package delivered and signed for by S. Bush (Day 01)

09/10/14 - Acceptance confirmation text messages/emails received (Day 07)

09/13/14 - Hard copy NOA's received in the mail (Day 10)

09/19/14 - Biometrics letter received in the mail - Appointment October 2nd - (Day 17)

10/02/14 - Biometrics successfully completed on schedule - (Day 29)

10/07/14 - Status of I-485 changed to "Testing and Interview" - (Day 34)

10/08/14 - EAD status changed to "Card/Document Production" - (Day 35)

10/14/14 - EAD shipped - (Day 40)

10/15/14 - EAD received - (Day 41)

01/14/15 - Interview Email Notice Received for 02/18/14 - (Day 133)

I agree with Stoaty. Luck of the draw with a combination of other factors. I think they keep stacking other applications on top of mine :)

12/13/18: File online application

12/15/18: Receive notification for biometrics appointment (no date)

12/31/18: Biometrics

02/25/19: Receive interview letter (April 8 )

04/08/19: Interview, approved!

04/12/19: Oath scheduled for April 26 

04/26/19: Oath Ceremony! 🇺🇸

 

ROC:

04/26/17:  Sent ROC package

04/27/17:  Package received

05/20/17:  Biometrics letter received

06/02/17:  Biometrics

08/22/18:  Card being produced

 

AOS from F1 visa:

08/16/14: Sent AOS package: I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131

08/19/14: Package received at Chicago Lockbox

Congrats! I don't know if there is a rhyme or reason for speedy EAD approvals but hopefully I get one :)

Also, that is only 45 days between Sep 5 - Oct 20

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview
