Hey everyone i jsut went to bvank of america to make the 1070 dollars cashier check for form i-485 and 420 for form i-130

Is it ok that the check came printed up? cause i heard it needed to be written with ink and stuff.... also my address is not in the cashier check, just my name and date

is that fine?

is there anything else that should be written in the cashier check? cause is only written ''made payable to US department of homeland security'' I dont have to wrinte ''for for i-130'' as well right?

There is no requirement that states that a check must be written in ink. There is no requirement that states that the check must have the petitioner's or beneficiaries name and/or address on it. Someone else can write the check (in your case the bank is writing the check with money you gave to the bank.) Make a copy of the check for your records. Keep the receipt, that's for you. Remember, a cashier's check is basically a fancy word for a money order that is written for more than $1000 by a bank. If the check has a memo line, write the form that the check is going towards. For example: Fee for Form I-130

Here's a link that explains how to write a check when paying immigration fees:

Thank you so much, I am glad to know i did not had to send the receipt, only thing that is written in the check is ''payable for US DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY'' I did not send ''for form I-130'' and ''for form I-485'' in any, but i did wrote that in the envelope it was inside :) the white envelope states ''1070 for for I-485 and I-130 for form I-130'' that should be enough right?
