My fiance will be off to his medical tomorrow although he has yet to get a passport photo. How strict are they about the passport photo being to the US size will he get away with the standard UK photo. Or does he need to find somewhere with the correct size. If so does anyone know of a photo place near to the Kensington medical centre. Thanks very much for your time.

I'm not sure about the U.K. but I HAD to have a U.S. sized passport photograph for my medical. I would suggest adhere to the instructions as they are written, in order to avoid any unnecessary delays. :)

03.04.2009......Ordered Police Certificate for Visa Purposes from Local Garda Office (ordered over the phone)

03.05.2009......I-130 received at Embassy

03.06.2009......Received Police Cert

03.18.2009......I-130 Approved

09.10.2009......Medical Exam

09.23.2009......Embassy receives Notice of Readiness

10.13.2009......Received our interview date

10.29.2009......Successful interview!

11.5.2009........Visa received in post

11.7.2009........All the family flew to the US together :)

12.20.2009......Received Welcome to America letter

12.24.2009......10 year Greencard received in the mail

I am pretty sure they only want the 2x2 size :yes:

I wouldn't risk a delay-I am sure some people will be able to tell you how to get the correct size in the UK

My fiance is from the UK as well, and he just went to any old photo shop and asked for an

immigration picture. They knew just what he was talking about, he didn't know what it was

supposed to look like..

But, they give you (him) two, in a little blue booklet the size of a passport book, and it's

just a little 2X2. You only send one of them (one of you and one of him, of course), and keep the other. Hope this helps! :D

They are very particular. Stewart had the wrong kind and they wouldn't take them. He had to get them re-done.

It DOES matter ... in AUstralia anyway.

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

ditto - you can receive an RFE it the photo is incorrect
