My husband and I have finished filling out the forms for his green card process, the I-130 and the I-485. Does anyone know if these two could be sent to USCIS in one envelope? Also, if we are in Colorado, do we send these forms to Chicago or Nebraska... the notice on the forms says Chicago, and when I called USCIS they said Nebraska.... We dont want to have the process be delayed, so were asking for your help!

Do we have to send envelope to Chicago wit delivery confirmation?

Thx

You don't have to but it would be pretty silly not to. Otherwise how will you know it even got there? It can take them awhile to cash checks and issue NOA1's so knowing that it physically got there is some comfort while you're waiting for them to acknowledge they got it.
