Obama lost senate control. so no benefits for illegal immigrants & F2A too. If only Obama take executive act we will get benefits. ??? but it's not easy.

VB movement only expected.

A coming Republican Senate would also make Obama more likely to take executive action quickly on immigration, something he delayed until after the elections.

The only question at this point is when, not if. Many analysts expect Obama to announce his executive action before Thanksgiving. But the timing will likely depend on whether Republicans secure control of the Senate on Tuesday — Obama wouldn't want to imperil Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu in a theoretical runoff in Louisiana.

Obama's actions will likely face heavy pushback from Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), the likely next chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama), who will likely take over as chair of the Senate Budget Committee in a GOP Senate.

"The President is assuming for himself the sole and absolute power to decide who can enter, work, live, and claim benefits in the United States. He has exempted virtually every group in the world from America immigration laws," Sessions said in a statement last week.

Any executive action would effectively poison the well for any legislative fix to the nation's immigration system until after Obama leaves office. The legislation passed by the Senate in 2013 expires with the end of this Congress in early January.

Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney said this weekend that a Republican House and Senate would pass immigration legislation. But Republican strategists speculated that any legislation Republicans would try to pass would be more about messaging on a "secure border" than a comprehensive revamping of the nation's immigration laws.

Even if Obama takes action on the immigration reform, do not expect changes to happen in 2-3 days. It will take several months before something changes effectively, maybe even next fiscal year.

Just to share with you last month November numbers, again in Mumbai they scheduled only 35 and if they scheduled the same number in Delhi that means only 70 a month!!! way less than what it should be scheduled.

Egypt they just scheduled for November 16 interviews which is also so less.

India last year they issued 2,014 F2A visas for India that means if they are going to issue the same this year they have to schedule 167 interviews a month.

Egypt last year they issued 382 F2A visas that means if they are going to issue the same this year they have to schedule monthly 32 interviews but

Looks like for Mumbai it's consistent 35 last month and 35 this month.

Hello, I receved a letter from NVC that my case is complete on October 30,2014. My priority date is 3DEC2012... Is anyone know how are my chance to receve interview date on this December are?? Please let me know, and also can I do something about it to expedited my interview date. (Embassy is in Warsaw,Poland) thank you so much...

Do you think that interview date will be for December?

you might get your IL by the end of the month , but not for Dec, prob Jan.. those are already scheduled. Stay alert, and call or email the NVC just to update yourself.. and get the IV date as soon as they schedule it..
