Spouse of US Citizen get interview immediately ( P.D will not do anything ) as the visa are always available no quota like Spouse Of LPR

for one to get interview set, case must be already completed (or in other cases with a incompleted or missing or erroneous document that must be presented at the embassy on the interview date) and all the fees (of the NVC stage, which you have to pay before they review your case and documents) must have been already paid...

your case processing is different from the F2A (spouses or children of permanent residents), we go through NVC and Consular processing.

My PD is Mar 2014, however, I want to know when they will ask me for these fees and documents...!!!??? FYI, my case is only approved by USCIS and they send it to NVC on April 2014. Thank you for your help.

yes, thats NVC 's job to collect fees payments and review all the documentation to see if you can obtain a residency visa..

Since your PD is march14, and the VB trend will be 3-4 weeks each month, your PD will not become current for a while..

all you can do for now is, call or email NVC every once in a while to get your NVC case number and Invoice number, with this you will be able in the future (meaning sometime where your pd will be closer to become current) to enter the web portal , pay all the fees and get the instructions on what documents and forms you will have to fill, gather and sent to the NVC for review... after everything is checked and ok, you'll get case complete and you'll be in the waiting list for a interview..

Based on the VB trend, your PD will not be current any time soon...but hopefully they sometime in the near future make a big jump to PDs of year 2014..or (which is just a wish...) Obama may do something about immigration laws from his powerful administrative position.
