The NVC may not send you anything. You can try calling them on Monday and see if they can give you a status. Two weeks since NOA2 should be enough time for them to have something.

Or it could take 4-6 weeks - relax and email them once a week with your case number.

Seems like the December NOA2's were getting to the NVC in 10 days. But the peeps, myself included, who got NOA2 after the holidays are taking longer. Just like I was expecting my NOA2 7 days before it arrived. My guess is a lot of petitions were backed up over the holidays and are now being crammed through the NVC.

Let's be thankful though. I know a guy that filed right after me who has yet to receive NOA2!

Hang in there everybody! Our government might not be as fast as we like, but they are methodical.

You actually need to be patient and give them some time. The service does not mail individual petitions to the NVC - they wait for a batch. Stop calling, give it another week, and send an email at the end of the week.

Check my signature. I was approved between Christmas and New Years and it took about 3 weeks for the letter to arrive saying the petition has been forwarded to the Embassy. I have also read elsewhere on this site that K-1's are not at NVC long enough to be put into the automated system so that may be why you are getting the "We don't have it yet" answers. Hopefully you will be getting the letter from NVC soon. Good Luck

Frank
