You guys are attacking each other. That is not beneficial to any discussion about the issues at hand and a perfect example of why common ground is so far out of reach for most people. You're so worried about the impact of words on your own egos you never stop, really stop, and think about what your words mean to someone else with a completely different view on life. You'd all do well to consider how you made someone else feel before you get so defensive about what you think they should feel.

Hey, new words are invented every day. Did you know a long time ago the "ain't" was not considered a word and you would not find it in a dictionary like you do nowadays. Keep using it and Webster just might pick it up.

I did know that. When I was a kid, all the rave was "ain't, ain't in the dictionary". I can't imagine anyone would use it when writing. But then, some people would have said the same thing about "can't" some time ago.
