You have to ask, why now, right before an election?. The election rules have been unchanged since 2002. Were the other elections invalid and riddled with fraud? What compelling public interest is served? A few thoughts:

Why now? The law was passed in 2011. 3 years ago. It has been tied up in court ever since.

I've read in different articles while researching this issue that the average number of fraudulent votes that are cast every year in the US amounts to 1 fraudulent vote for every 15 million votes cast.

I'd guess they're being proactive. With the Federal govt's. sudden open arms policy concerning illegal immigration, seems like they're trying to stay one step ahead.

I don't see the problem with the law. It makes me think that people that have an issue with the law, want people voting that shouldn't be voting.

And yet, there's still no evidence of this beat down Brown delivered to Wilson. No pictures, and no one has laid eyes on Wilson since then. And when you look at the NH riot that took place earlier this week, where are the disparaging comments? Black people in Ferguson are fed up with the ways things have been going and because of some stupid looters, the whole message has been lost. The folks in NH? They acted a fool over a football game, where's the angry tax payers? Where's the single parent comments?

The case is far from over. All I'm asking for is the evidence that Wilson was assaulted in his car. GZ at least his pictures to say he was in an altercation with TM.

Lots of evidence he was attacked in the car, you just are not wanting to hear it . The only part that was said not to be true was that Wilson suffered a broken eye socket. The Chief has clearly said Wilson was treated for injuries, No one disputes that. You are in denial.

Initial reports say he was beaten almost unconscious, or he was beaten until he had a fractured eye socket, or his face was bruised. Take your pick since no one seems to have their story straight. Nope, nothing strange about it at all..

none of those come close to beaten almost to death. officer Wilson's story hasn't changed. the 'eye witness' accounts from those supporting st. swisher have 'evolved' multiple times....kinda like the st. skittles story did.

As I said before, Rick Perry is just posturing instead of taking care of real issues in his state. You'd think there is no unemployment or any other more pressing issues that might justify an expenditure of this magnitude.

He's serving Kool-Aid and the people of Texas are diving into it butt first, with their heads stuck deep inside.

Or they don't like wasting money on problems that don't exist.
